Meet Super Safety Mum (Yes, I’m a real person.)

I’m a mum, a nurse, and the founder of Super Safety Mum. I teach real-world first aid and safety skills in a way that feels calm, practical, and surprisingly enjoyable, so you feel prepared, not panicked.

Safety Training for Real Life

Super Safety Mum really began from the intersection of two parts of my life — being a parent, and being an experienced emergency nurse. Over more than 20 years in healthcare, I’ve seen how quickly situations can change. I’ve also seen the incredible difference that early actions, taken before arriving at hospital, can make in saving lives. And I’ve seen the other side too — the desperation and heartbreak when someone says, “If only I knew what to do.” As both a mum and a nurse, I realised there was so much I could share with the community to make a real difference. Not through fear, but through knowledge, preparation, and confidence. Whether families want to build safer, proactive habits at home, or simply want to know how to respond if something unexpected happens, I believe everyone deserves to feel supported as they take that first step toward keeping the people they love safe. I’m passionate about helping people feel calm and capable when it matters most. Super Safety Mum was created to share practical skills, knowledge, and real-life education in a way that feels supportive rather than intimidating. My goal is to help parents, carers and community members feel empowered and confident, without information overload or judgement. In just a couple of hours, I want people to walk away feeling clearer, calmer, and reassured — knowing they can step forward and help if something happens. Because sometimes the right knowledge, shared in the right way, can make all the difference.
